Binary superradiance: A numerical study

چکیده

Rotating axisymmetric objects amplify incoming waves by superradiant scattering. When enclosed in a cavity, the repeated interaction of confined field with object may trigger instabilities. binaries are ubiquitous physics, and play fundamental role astrophysics everyday life instruments. Such be prone to phenomena as well, but their inherent complexity makes it challenging study how exactly such instabilities can triggered. Here, we binary two absorbing (mimicking black hole binaries, blades helicopter, etc.) revolving around common center, show that do occur, on expected timescales frequency range. Our results provide first demonstration superradiance also occurs for highly asymmetric systems, have wealth applications fluid dynamics astrophysics. Extrapolating astrophysical holes, our findings indicate compact used interesting particle detectors, depositing fraction energy into putative new ultralight degrees freedom.
